A thought for the new year.

Hello all,

Happy 2025 from your OSPAN Board! I am extending an invitation on behalf of the Oklahoma Society of Perianesthesia Nurses (OSPAN). You are probably familiar with our national organization, American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses, but did you know that there is a lot that can be done through our state level? OSPAN has several Board of Director positions open and will have even more open opportunities by next summer. We are seeking highly motivated nurses that are passionate about perianesthesia care. This includes hospital and ambulatory centers. The Board meetings are only 4 times a year with at least 2 of those being via Zoom and the other two at our Spring and Fall conferences. We all work together to accomplish projects, plan conferences and other educational opportunities, as well as giving back to the community. It is a great way to further develop your career at a state and national level.

 

If being on the Board is not something you want to pursue right now, but enjoy conference planning, etc. we can always use your help as a committee member. Please forward this information to any coworkers or facilities as you see fit.
